Just got operator's manual from NH for my '86 1310. All the pictures in manual show a roll bar (I'm assuming ROPS). My tractor does not have ROPS. Any idea whether 1310 had roll bar in '86? Is NH covering their buts by showing a picture w/ ROPS? Can I get ROPS now for tractor? Figure it might be easier to add ROPS than to have a problem and not have. Thanks!!

My parts manual shows one ROPS since 4/85 and an earlier one as well. The part number given for the entire assembly is {9610919}. The {}'s seems to be part of the part number. ....

ROPS are available for the 1310, I checked with my Dealer and he say's they order them direct from the supplier that New Holland has set up. Check in with your Dealer and ask him to look it up in their sales book.

Don't forget to ask about a seat belt kit to go with the ROPS, no good having a roll bar if your not strapped to the seat.

Have a great Day! ....

Thanks guys for your help. My NH dealer is about 1 hr away so I'm trying to do this w/o involving them. I was using the tractor on a side hill yesterday and think the comfort that ROPS may offer will make me feel better. I was able to find a place called Saf-T-Cab in Fresno, Ca. that supposedly offers ROPS for many tractors. I haven't contacted them yet. When I do I'll ley you know what I found. Again, Thanks. ....

Matt, Saf-T-Cab is New Holland's supplier according to my Dealer friend, so you should make out just fine. I have a couple of steep grades on my property, having the ROPS with seatbelt certainly adds to my peace of mind.

Have a good one! ....

Talked with the people from Saf-T-Cab the other day, well actually received an email. They in fact do have ROPS for the 1310. Here is the kicker, price $495 PLUS $200ish for shipping depending on location. $700 bucks seems, well YEEE! Now I really don't know what to do. I'm going to continue my research to see if I can find another source that is more within my budget. Anyone having any addition info would be helpful. Thanks. ....
